The City of Orange is making the Pfizer vaccination shot more accessible to Orange residents! The City has partnered with MemorialCare to administer Pfizer vaccination shots at the El Camino Real Park – Community Building on Saturday, January 15, 2022 between the hours of 11 am - 2 pm.
The main task for this project is checking in individuals; whether they have an appointment or are a walk-in. MemorialCare staff will administer injections and register individuals into the database.
You'll need to arrive at 10:30am to be ready by 11am and will need to stay until 2:30 pm to make sure everything is packed up.
If you are fully vaccinated, wearing a mask will not be required but recommended. Make sure to bring your vaccination card with you in case you are asked to show it. It is not a requirement for volunteers to be vaccinated to help but for this project it would probably be best to be vaccinated. If you are unvaccinated, you will need to wear your mask while you volunteer.
Minimum age to volunteer for this is 18 yrs old. Since you will be sitting at the registration table, make sure you are wearing comfortable clothes. Water and a snack will be provided.
The location is the El Camino Real Park – Community Building. It's the building near the playground.
